General Information

potassium thiosulfate solution 0-0-25 17% S is a neutral to basic, chloride-free, clear liquid solution, containing 25% potash and 17% sulfur. Each gallon contains 3 pounds of potash and 2.1 pounds of sulfur. potassium thiosulfate solution can be applied by drip, sprinkler or flood irrigation. It may be blended with other fertilizers or applied as a foliar treatment on selected crops. When used as a foliar fertilizer, potassium thiosulfate solution should first be diluted with water before applying. Blends of potassium thiosulfate solution should not be acidified below a pH of 6.0.

potassium thiosulfate solution is compatible with urea and ammonium poly- phosphate solutions in any ratio. When blending with UAN solution, a jar test is recommended before mixing large quantities. Potassium reacts with nitrate to form KNO3 crystals. If this should happen, the addition of water and/or heat should bring it back to a clear solution.

STARTER FERTILIZER:

Potassium Thiosulfate 0-0-25 17% Sulfur

Apply 1 to 4 gallons potassium thiosulfate solution per acre by itself or with other starter fertilizers, at least 2 inches below and 2 inches to the side of the seed.

SIDEDRESS

potassium thiosulfate solution may be surface banded or knife injected as a source of potassium and sulfur. Rates may vary between 1 and 20 gal- lons per acre depending on crop requirements and soil analysis.

Product Usage 

The product could be used as the sulfur and potash fertilizer in crop cultivation and production, which could also be used as photographic fixing agents, metal cleaners, silver plating solution, the dechlorination after bleaching of cotton fabric and printing-dyeing auxiliary agent, as well as organic synthesis and analytical reagent.

CAUTIONS (APPLICATION)

•Do Not apply potassium thiosulfate solution to foliage of crops sensitive to foliar burn from Sulfur.

•Be sure to check other manufacturer's labels concerning dormant oil treatment spray guidelines and foliar nutrient applications containing sulfur.

•Do Not apply to foliage of any crop when temperatures are above 90° F. Apply potassium thiosulfate solution early morning or late evening.

Do Not apply potassium thiosulfate solution with knife injectors or other types of fertilizer injecting equipment that may cause root pruning.

Do Not mix potassium thiosulfate solution with Calcium Products.

Storage and Handling

Store in a cool, dry place. Keep container tightly closed. Do not add water or other material to the container. Do not contaminate water, food, or feed by storage or disposal. Do not store near acids.
